Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia met with Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan within the scope of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The parties discussed the important topics on the bilateral agenda, strategic partnership and joint projects which are successfully implemented. Importance of the already completed Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project was emphasized. It was mentioned that this project plays an important role and creates new opportunities for the region.
Cooperation in the field of energy transit and growth rate of trade-economic relations was also discussed. According to the parties, the partnership between the two countries is crucial and brings excellent prospects for the region.
