Very successful Tbilisi Silk Road Forum - "One Belt - One Road" was attended by 34 official delegations, over 60 countries and more than 2000 delegates. This is a great success and will definitely have results. We have already signed 10 significant agreements under the auspices of the sad Forum. Numerous meetings were held with the representatives of local business communities.

Prime Ministers of two countries - Moldova and Ukraine attended the Forum; Vice Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan and Slovenia, ministers of our friendly countries, representatives of international financial institutions at the level of Vice Presidents also visited the event - this is very important. Naturally, numerous large companies visited Georgia, many important agreements were signed, however, I would like to mention some of them:

- European Investment Bank (the EIB) and European Investment Fund (the EIF) as well as Georgian banks signed an agreement, according to which, 90 million Euro will be allocated in the specific field of fostering SMEs and innovative enterprises;

- "National Construction Fund of Georgia" was founded as well. This is a joint venture of largest energy Company of Huayin in Shanghai - CCEFC and Partnership Fund that will create new investment platform for implementing business projects in the country and will serve as a sound financial instrument for funding new important projects;

- I would also like to mention a Memorandum signed between Georgia and the People's Republic of China on Cooperation in the areas of Developing Economic Zones and Entrepreneurial Capacities. It aims at providing a platform for cooperation among the enterprises and developing entrepreneurial clusters.

It is a welcoming fact that it was mentioned on numerous occasion throughout the Forum that Georgia is a hub in terms of transportation, investments, logistics and services.

Naturally, this Forum demonstrated once again that steps taken by our party in terms of utilizing the full transit, logistics and production and exports potential of the country are absolutely correct and many countries confirmed their interest towards these important processes via their attendance.
I would like to thank each and every person who participated in the organization of the Forum, many ministries were involved in the process. I would not like to omit any of them, therefore, I will emphasize Ministry of Economy that led the process. Giorgi Gakharia launched this process and Dimitry Kumsishvili continued it. Ministry of Foreign affairs and various agencies participated in the process. All relevant institutions took measures in the light of ensuring security. Thank you very much for representing our country at such level.

It was noted by everyone that the Forum was a great success for our country.
