The European Union supports all processes pertaining to Georgia's integration into the European family, President Donald Tusk of the European Council stated during today's meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
During the meeting at the UN Headquarters in New York, the parties discussed Georgia-EU bilateral relations, the country's ongoing reforms, and the state of affairs in Georgia's occupied territories.

The Head of Government provided Donald Tusk with detailed information about Georgia's political and economic reforms in the making, which are strongly supported by the EU. The conversation also involved the situation in Georgia's occupied territories. The President of the European Council reaffirmed the European Union's unwavering support of Georgia's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and all processes designed to integrate Georgia into the European family.
The meeting was also attended by Georgia's Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze and First Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani.
