At the decision of the Government of Georgia, additional 400 IDP families will receive residences to own in Tbilisi, Borjomi, Poti, Zugdidi, and Akhaltsikhe.

According to the Georgian Prime Minister's statement at today's Government meeting, the state has handed residences to 15,000 IDP families over the past few years, and this process continues.
"Importantly, we must imbue them with a sense of owning permanent residences, and that is a priority, but I also emphasize that none of us doubts that these will not be their permanent residences as such. We all hope and we are actually working hard to solve this problem. I am convinced that we will succeed in reuniting with the Abkhazians and Ossetians, and that Georgia will surely be unified," Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated.
