One more clinic of international standards was opened in Tbilisi, - the Prime Minister and the Minister of Healthcare opened Dr. Vakhtang Bochorishvili multi-profile clinic. The medical facility is fully equipped with some of the most state of the art equipment.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated that hospital of the highest modern standards is crucial for a country.

"I firmly believe that today state alongside with the private sector fosters development of the healthcare industry. Respective partnership gave us a model that grants guaranteed healthcare to each and every individual," - the Prime Minister noted.

The head of the Government welcomed the fact that the hospital carries the name of a praiseworthy and reputable professional Vakhtang Bochorishvili.

"I was honored to be his colleague in the capacities of the Parliament member. I will always remember his wisdom, wit, and sense of humor and an absolutely extraordinary love of mankind. I am glad that in this clinic I can see professionals that have saved many lives. Please, accept my honest appreciation. Success of a medical facility primarily depends on humans and human resources," - the Prime Minister noted.

Aversi Pharma with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the EBRD) invested 15 million GEL in renovation of the hospital.

The head of the Government also met the employees of Infectious Pathologies, AIDs and Clinical Immunology Center who rallied on the territory of the hospital and demanded construction of a new building and improvement of their working conditions. The Prime Minister urged the protesters to assign several people to meet him today for the negotiations.

"The state will spare no effort to reach balanced decision. Neither government, nor private sector is able to single-handedly do something tangible in this area. I would like to reiterate my previous statement - the state will do its utmost to recognize the labor of each and every professional and ensure full utilization of the resources of highly-qualified doctors of our country," - the Prime Minister noted.
