New cultural center of modern standards was opened in Mtskheta. Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili attended the opening ceremony.

The new cultural center has a 450-seat concert hall equipped with high class video, audio, sound and lighting systems of professional standards. Rehearsal halls, dressing rooms, sound recording studios, control rooms, conference halls, drawing and applied arts studios are also located in the building.

Due to the fire in 2012, there was no cultural center in Mtskheta. Construction of the new building was launched in 2014.
Prime Minister also visited the construction site of the sports and recreational center. The complex will include 2 swimming pools and multi-functional hall. Construction of the complex will be finalized in 2017.
