Imereti really is a special Georgian region with its exceptional opportunities, and it is our duty to make good use of these opportunities, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated in his speech during the folk festival at Davit Kldiashvili's House Museum in the village of Zemo Simoneti.

The Head of Government spoke of the projects implemented and planned in the region, pointing out that the spatial development program covers every region and village in the country.

"It means that every place in the country must be easily accessible, and so must every service rendered by the state. Imereti has special opportunities in many ways, but firstly it is about its people and, of course, geographic location, as it links east to west, and north to south. This is why Kutaisi is transforming into Georgia's hub offering easy access to any place in Georgia. This means developing tourism opportunities in every location, including this beautiful place, which will eventually bring more income and stronger families in Georgia. It is very important, and we are gradually proceeding with this program," Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
According to the Prime Minister, 8 million GEL worth of projects have been implemented in Terjola, including 26 kilometers of road, five new modern kindergartens, and a renovated art gallery, and many more exciting programs are planned.

As the Head of Government emphasized, it is crucial to make sure that young people keep up with the times and even go the extra mile to boost Georgia's development, which is why the development of the education system is the declared priority number one.

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, it is about development in education directions that matter most to our country and about restoring and promoting the reputation of professional education.

"Today the state offers free professional education for all stakeholders, but no matter how much we may talk about different infrastructural projects, what matters most is people's attitudes toward one another, and this is what I see in Zemo Simoneti. It is imperative for the Georgian nation to consolidate, to stand together, to show more love for one another, and to push our country forward. This is why today's event is so important. Using money to ensure infrastructural development is important, but it is all futile unless we unite people's hearts, and this is why I congratulate you on this day. Well-functioning infrastructure, reviving traditional local crafts, apt people, and people's attitude and love of one another is what will save our country. This is exactly why we are here today, and this is exactly why this day is so important. Once again, I congratulate you on this day and the high spirits it has given us," the Prime Minister addressed the locals.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili thanked majoritarian MP Elguja Gotsiridze and the young people engaged in the organization of the event. At the conclusion, the organizers awarded the Honorary Citizens of the Terjola Municipality.
