Preparations Underway for Tsinandali Festival Print Version

Tsinandali, an important cultural center, is on its way to becoming an international hub for classical music-preparations are underway for a top-level annual international classical music festival scheduled to launch in August-September 2019.

As the Prime Minister emphasized at today's Government meeting, the Tsinandali Festival, funded jointly by the state and the private sector, will feature an educational component along with top-ranking performers.

The project is implemented in cooperation with Silk Road Group and co-financed by the Tourism Administration.

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, importantly, professionals from different European countries and Israel, with experience facilitating blue-ribbon festivals of this type throughout Europe, are engaged in this project.

The Prime Minister is convinced that the Tsinandali Festival will have a tremendous impact on both the Kakheti Region and Georgia as a whole.
