We believe that Kakhi Kaladze has no rivals in a fair battle, he will surely win the upcoming elections and will do a lot for our capital, - the Prime Minister of Georgia stated during today's Government meeting. According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Kakha Kaladze was a very successful Minster of Energy and he expressed his hopes that Tbilisi will have a truly honorable mayor.

"Today Kakhi attends the Government meeting for the last time in his capacity as a Minister and I would like to thank him. Numerous important projects were implemented during his tenure - projects worth 1 billion 200 million USD of foreign direct investment; 18 hydroelectric plants, 2 thermal power plants and 1 wind energy power plant were built. Construction of the first solar thermal power station is also planned. I am sure that Kakhi will successfully cope with the new and important challenge of being a city mayor. I would like to thank Kakhi once again and wish him success in reaching new heights," - the Prime Minister stated.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili also thanked acting Mayor David Narmania for his efforts.

"David Narmania has implemented many valuable projects for our city. He silently performed his functions and dealt with a lot of often undeserved criticism. I want to thank him and wish him best of luck in his future endeavors," - the Prime Minister stated.
