The dcfta.gov.ge website will become an important tool, especially for SMEs, enabling them to take advantage of the potential offered by our FTA with Europe, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated at today's Government meeting.
The Prime Minister is convinced that the newly created interactive web portal, with important bilingual (Georgian and English) information pertaining to the EU DCFTA, will serve as an excellent PPP (public-private partnership) platform.
The Prime Minister thanked Georgia's Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the EU Delegation to Georgia, the German Embassy, and GIZ (German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation) for developing and implementing the project and ensuing its success.
The Prime Minister also commented on the EU market opening to Georgian Black Sea fish. According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the growing numbers of Georgian fish species entering the European market increase the country's export potential.
