The meeting of Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili with Sean O'Sullivan, Director General for Central and West Asia at Asian Development Bank (the ADB) covered wide range of areas, including the four-point reform plan of the Government of Georgia, implemented and ongoing projects funded by the ADB as well as positive trends at economic development of Georgia.

The head of Government spoke about the specifics of the four-point reform plan, which aims at rapid economic development, as well as infrastructural development (spatial development) of the country. Other areas of the reform plan also include system of education and governance.

Particular attention was paid to the positive trends at economic development of Georgia and the ever-improving ratings across various areas, including economic growth, export, tourism and money transfer.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili thanked the ADB for the support provided in terms of implementing infrastructural projects, reforming pension and capital markets and the public-private partnership system.

Prime Minister also underlined the importance of the agreement signed at the Ministry of Finance today. According to the said agreement ADB will allocate 80 million USD for the purpose of implementing the project on "Improving the Conditions of Secondary Roads". Within the framework of the project, around 50 km of road connecting Dzirula-Kharagauli-Moliti-Phona-Chumateleti as well as railway stations and roads leading to Borjomi-Kharagauli Park will be rehabilitated.

Sean O'Sullivan indicated that the ADB will continue providing support to Georgia across various areas.
