Meeting with Staff of Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Center Print Version

The new facility of the Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Center will be completed in three years the latest. In the meantime, the old building will be renovated within the tightest possible deadline. This agreement was made at today's meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the center's staff. The meeting was held at the Administration of the Government.

The center's employees thanked the Prime Minister and emphasized the positive outcomes of the meeting.

Earlier today, the staff of the Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Center held a protest rally near Vakhtang Bochorishvili Clinic, demanding a facility constructed for them and better work conditions. The meeting at the Administration of the Government was scheduled after a conversation between Giorgi Kvirikashvili and some of the protesters.

The meeting at the Administration of the Government was also attended by Health Minister Davit Sergeenko and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Gakharia.
