Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, as part of his working visit to Jordan, held a meeting today with Foreign Minister Børge Brende of the Kingdom of Norway. The main topics of the conversation included bilateral cooperation, Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration, and the country's ongoing reforms. The Norwegian Foreign Minister commended Georgia's economic growth.

The parties discussed successful energy cooperation and prospective investment projects. It was pointed out that 2017 marks the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The dialogue also involved cooperation in multilateral formats.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili thanked Norway for its significant contribution to the implementation of the NATO-Georgia Substantial Package.

The Prime Minister singled out the support of the Kingdom of Norway in development cooperation.The parties also discussed the situation in Georgia's occupied territories. The Prime Minister reiterated Georgia's commitment to peaceful conflict resolution.
