Ukrainian Prime Minister’s Upcoming State Visit to Georgia Print Version

During today's meeting between the Head of Ukrainian Government with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Volodymyr Groysman will visit Georgia this fall.

The parties summarized the Meeting of the GUAM Heads of State and discussed the two countries' bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the positive dynamics of Georgia-Ukraine political relations were emphasized. The Prime Ministers stressed the need to spur sectorial cooperation in the fields of energy, agriculture, environmental and natural resources protection, regional development and infrastructure.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili invited his Ukrainian counterpart to attend the Silk Road Forum in Tbilisi, in November.

The parties paid special attention to prospects of deeper trade and economic cooperation. According to the Prime Ministers, the Meeting of the Intergovernmental Economic Commission, which is scheduled to be held in April in Kyiv, will make a tremendous contribution to this process.
The Prime Ministers of Georgia and Ukraine thanked each other for firm support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of their respective states.
