Georgian Prime Minister Hosts Turkish Counterpart at Informal Dinner Print Version

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili officiated an informal dinner in honor of his Turkish counterpart, Binali Yildirim, who visited Batumi for a few hours.

The parties emphasized the positive development dynamics in Georgia-Turkey strategic partnership. Special emphasis was placed on preparation for the second meeting of the Turkey-Georgia High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili expressed commitment to host the second meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Georgia and to dedicate this event to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The Turkish Prime Minister reassured his Georgian colleague of Turkey's unwavering support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to Binali Yildirim, he is looking forward to meeting Giorgi Kvirikashvili at the Summit for Heads of State and Government of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation, which will celebrate the organization's 25th anniversary in Istanbul, on May 22.
