Armenia's Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan has launched his two-day state visit to Georgia. The Head of the Armenian Government is hosted by Georgia's Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
An official welcoming ceremony was held today at the Administration of the Georgian Government, and the national anthems of the two countries were performed. The Prime Ministers introduced each other to the members of their respective Cabinets.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili is holding a face-to-face meeting with his Armenian counterpart, after which negotiations in an enhanced format will continue with the participation of the members of the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and Georgia.
After the meeting, the Prime Ministers will make a joint statement for the press.
