Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Cabinet Session was held today at the Administration of the Government. The Government reviewed 35 issues placed on the agenda.
Under the umbrella of "Produce in Georgia" nut processing factory will be established in city of Lanchkhuti. For the said purpose ownership over the state-owned land plot (1700.00 sq.m.) will be transferred to the company that will be responsible for investing 136 000 GEL within the timeframe of the next 2 years.

Pursuant to the Government's decision, state-owned land plot (7938.00 sq.m.) will also be transferred to the company that will be construct tea processing factory in the village of Salkhino in Martvili district within the nearest 18 months. For this purpose the company will invest 300 000 GEL.

Pursuant to the Ordinance of the Government, the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection will fund studies of 3 Georgian students at the prestigious musical school of the US. Cost of the studies of Salome Kotsoladze, Vazha Mania and Salome Zhordania will be fully covered by the Ministry. Support of academic development of the young artists is one of the top priorities of the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection. Studies of 9 students were fully covered by the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection in 2015-2016.

Cabinet of Ministers also approved the list of the industrial fixed assets, import of which will be fully exempt from the VAT, provided that respective assets are used in a taxable transaction for VAT purposes. The list mainly includes industrial machinery and other technologies directly used during the production process. Respective reforms were implemented under the umbrella of the Government's 4-point reform plan. Respective concessions will sufficiently support development of local industry and export potential of the country.
