The Cabinet session was held today at the Administration of the Government under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili. The Cabinet discussed 28 issues placed on the agenda, 18 issues were added.
The Government adopted an amendment to the regulation on conditions of issuing permissions to the authorized pharmacies. Namely, to fight the prescription drug abuse, pharmacists issuing psychotropic substances of the first group without prescription will be held professionally liable. In particular, according to the provisions of the law in force, they will not be able to continue their professional career at the authorized pharmacies.

Throughout next few months important medical infrastructure will start operating. Relevant amendments were introduced to the Resolution of the Government on "2016 Program for Rehabilitation and Equipment of Medical Facilities" during today's Cabinet Session. According to the information provided by the Minister of Healthcare David Sergeenko, rehabilitated children tuberculosis building, as well as district hospitals in Lentekhi, Kharagauli, Dedoplistskaro and C Hepatitis Center in Zugdidi will soon start operating.
Furthermore, following the Government decision agricultural land and residential properties in the possession of 95 ecomigrant families were legalized. Ecomigrants were granted property in Tsalka, Ninotsminda, Lagodekhi, Sighnaghi, Gurjaani, Akhmeta, Khoni, Marneuli and Tetritskaro. The property in question encompasses 2600 sq.m. agricultural land parcels and 40-50 sq.m. buildings. In 2016, 397 ecomigrant families were provided with house and an agricultural land parcel and the process continues.

Within the frames of "House in the Village" Program, state, namely the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia will grant a house in Zugdidi to a 7-member family of Giga Otkhozoria who was killed in Khurcha.
According to the Government decision, 27 entrepreneurs were granted the status of mountainous enterprises. They are based in Mestia, Ninotsminda, Kazbegi, Oni, Khulo, Dmanisi, Tsalka municipalities and fields of the activities include cultivation of grain cultures, bread and pastry baking and distribution, honey producton, cattle breeding, wood processing, production of building blocks.
