Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili the Cabinet Session was held today at the Administration of the Government of Georgia. The Cabinet of Ministers discussed 20 issues on agenda.
Factory of the glass-plastic products to be established in Didi Lilo settlement. For the purpose of creation of the venture, 700 thousand GEL will be invested. 70 individuals will be employed in the new factory of glass-plastic products, including not less than 20 former convicts - who have been found guilty of less grave crimes. Relevant draft Ordinance on "Privatization of State Owned Property through Direct Sale to Contract Vision" has been approved today during the Government's session.
Within the frames of state program "Produce in Georgia", new venture producing nonalcoholic beverages will be established in Ambrolauri. Investment in an amount of 233 200 GEL and employment of 30 people is planned. The draft Ordinance on "Privatization of State Owned Property through Direct Sale to Itsis Tskali, LTD" has been approved today during the Government's session.
The Government also approved "Measures Supporting Harvest 2016," according to which, due to the vital interest of the farmers, the Government of Georgia will subsidize the sale of the harvest. Prime Minister expressed hope that the farmers will be able to sell all the harvest.
Government also approved state program on services supporting employment that aims at instituting active labor market policy and fostering employment services; support of the employment of persons with disabilities and individuals with special education needs through reaching agreements with employers and subsidies for beneficiaries occupying new or existing vacancies (in an amount of 50% - no more than 460 GL) will be allocated from the state budget.
