Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Cabinet Session was held today at the Administration of the Government. The Government reviewed 36 issues placed on the agenda.
Pursuant to the Government's Decree, "Unified Business Service Space" will be established. Relevant strategy has been approved during today's event. To foster activities envisaged within the frames of the strategy, the bodies and agencies of executive branch of Government were tasked and municipalities and LEPL-s without overseeing state body were requested to implement relevant measures within their competence to support interaction between the state and private sectors. This will affect positively affect development of the state economy.

The Government also approved draft Decree on "Privatization of the State Property via Direct Sell", according to which, 71 eco-migrant families will be provided with residential spaces owned by the state in various regions at a symbolic price. Last year, 302 eco-migrant families were provided with houses and land plots and the process continues.
New bitumen enterprise will be established in Martkophi within the frames of state program "Produce in Georgia". For that purpose, pursuant to the Government's Decree, privatization of state owned property via direct sale by Georgian Industry, ltd, is planned.

Within the frames of Tea Support Program, tea enterprise will become operative in Laituri settlement of Ozurgeti region. Relevant draft Decree on "Granting lease on the state owned real estate to "New Georgian Tea" was approved by the Government today.

99 settlements to be added to the list of high mountainous locations - the draft Decree was submitted to the Government during the session by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure. Hence, additional 38 000 people will be able to enjoy the law prescribed social benefits.

Pursuant to the Governmental Resolution on "Rules of State Control by the State Department under the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection - Environmental Supervision Department" the Resolution of February 17, 2015 №61 was amended. Hence, the seized wildlife object/s will be distributed for social purposes free of charge, or destroyed in accordance with the law.

The Government also approved a draft Resolution "on the issuance of a permit to removal of protected species enlisted in the Red List from the environment during the special purpose use of state forestry by the Kobuleti Municipality." The project envisages cutting of four individual chestnut trees enlisted in the Red List to support the construction of main building to ensure water supply to the residents of village Chaisubani. Implementation of the project will result in provision of water supply to more than 800 families who suffered due to the lack of water during 30 years. The project costs 4 million.
