The meeting of the Cabinet was held at the Administration of Government under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili. The Cabinet discussed 36 issues that were placed on agenda.

The Government approved draft Resolution on Amendments to the state Program "Produce in Georgia". Pursuant to the draft provisions, based on the needs assessment and to ensure increased support for entrepreneurs, several important directions will be changed and improved. Namely, the lower limit of the credits issued by the commercial banks for the purpose of creation of the enterprises within the state program will be 150 000 GEL (instead of 250 000 GEL pursuant to the previous regulations) and 75 000 USD (instead of 150 000 USD pursuant to the previous regulations).
2016-2020 Strategic Action Plan on developments of the small and medium-sized enterprises was also discussed during the meeting. The document encompasses several important chapters and will presented in the near future.

The Government agreed to the lease of the real estate owned by the state in Oni Municipality, village Pharakhetito the Miller Group ltd. for 25 years. Namely, it is an agricultural land plot, where 120 head cattle farm will be constructed.
100 head cattle farm will be constructed in Tianeti municipality. The same amount of cattle will be bred and 200 000 GEL investment will be provided for that purpose. The Government also approved draft Ordinance on "Transferm of state-owned real estate to an individual George Chumburidze in the form of direct purchase"

Furthermore, pursuant to the Ordinance of the Government, for the purpose of electrification of villages - Mananauri, Tskhumaldi, Bavari and Khacheshi, the Ministry of Energy was allocated 535 737 GEL from the fund for implementation of regional projects.
Upon termination of respective process, overall, 29 villages of Lentekhi municipality will be electrified. Respective settlements were deprived of electricity for more than 20 years.

The Government also approved the draft Ordinance on allocation of 4 565 786 GEL from the fund for implementation of regional projects for the purpose of conducting disaster relief activities in the Tbilisi municipality. Respective funds will cover the construction costs of the retaining wall in Tskneti, near the Teacher Training Center and finalization of the repairing works of the II stage of Tbilisi-Kojori-Manglisi road section.

Furthermore, based on the Governmental decision and within the frames of Village Support Program, 50 mln GEL will be allocated to the self-governing units. The exact amount of funds allocated to each unit will be decided based on the Governmental resolution, in accordance to the size of the population of village in question.
