Prime Minister of Georgia participated in 52nd Munich Security Conference. Giorgi Kvirikashvili presented a speech during the thematic panel "Future Path to the European Integration". In his address, Prime Minister emphasized that Georgia is a part of Europe in terms of history and culture.

"Georgia is in a process of building its European future. We gradually fulfill requirements of the Association Agreement agenda and we are ambitious about this: transformation of post-Soviet institutions into European ones, approximation of Georgia's political standards with these of Europe, free trade with Europe and visa free travel that we strive to and we hope that we will obtain it soon. Georgia has already finalized implementation of the visa liberalization Action Plan and, the most importantly, we are building our European future based on common history and vision," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted.
Within the frames of his visit Giorgi Kvirikashvili conducted bilateral meetings.

During his meeting with Federica Mogherini, Prime Minister noted that the EU is Georgia's trategic partner and country implements democratic reforms with its support. The conversation touched upon ways of implementation of DCFTA and economic and trade cooperation between the EU and Georgia.

Within the frames of Munich Conference, Prime Minister of Georgia conducted meeting with the President of Ukraine. In the beginning of the meeting Petro Poroshenko thanked Giorgi Kvirikashvili for the meeting. Parties discussed trade and economic relations between their respective states. Sides emphasized the need for setting up an Intergovernmental Economic Commission, which will be entrusted with discussions concerning trade and economic related issues. Prime Minister of Georgia and Ukrainian President discussed "New Silk Road" and noted that respective project is of crucial importance for participating countries.

Within the frames of Munich Security Conference, Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves discussed bilateral cooperation between the states and prospects of deepening the partnership. Close cooperation between the states was emphasized.

Prime Minister conducted meeting with the President of Slovenia Borut Pahor. The main topics of the conversation were the bilateral cooperation between the states and prospects of deepening the partnership. The need for deepening of partnership in the trade and economic areas between the states and the potential in that direction were emphasized. The sides emphasized importance of the timely finalization of the visa liberalization process with the EU and noted that Georgia has successfully accomplished all the technical preconditions.

Issues of political and economical partnership, Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic agenda as well as topics of international security were discussed by Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the President of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev during their meeting within the frames of Security Conference.

Within the frames of Munich Security Conference, Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili met the Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Jokanovich.Sides discussed cooperation areas of Georgia and Montenegro in a view of deepening economic, political and cultural partnership.

Within the frames of Munich Security Conference Giorgi Kvirikashvili met with the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė. The sides discussed partnership between their respective states and prospects of deepening bilateral cooperation. Trade and economic as well as investment potential of the two states was emphasized.

Enhancement of economic, cultural and political liaisons between Norway and Georgia were the main topics of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Prime Minister of Norway Erna Solberg.

Potential cooperation in the economic area as well as energy security related issues were the main discussion topics of the Prime Ministers. Projects financed by the Norwegian Government within the frames of Development Cooperation were emphasized.

The main topics of the meeting of US President's senior adviser for European affairs Charles Kupchan and Prime Minister of Georgia were the ongoing and finalized democratic reforms undertaken by the Government. The importance of support of the USA in the reform process was emphasized.

Within the frames of his visit to Germany, Prime Minister of Georgia conducted bilateral meeting with Christoph Heusgen, Foreign Policy and Security Advisor to the German Federal Chancellor.

Sides discussed wide spectrum of cooperation areas between their respective countries.

Within the frames of Munich Conference, Prime Minister conducted meeting with the Hague International Criminal Court Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda.

Conversation touched upon technical issues concerning investigation of Russian-Georgian war of 2008. Georgian side expressed readiness to cooperate with the Prosecutor's Office and the ICC in transparent and open manner and to fully investigate facts of ethnic cleansing, torture of prisoners of war (the POWs) and deliberate destruction of monuments of cultural heritage.
