Today our country celebrates the 39th anniversary of the enthronization of His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of All-Georgia Ilia II. The merit of Georgia's Catholicos-Patriarch in lifting and strengthening the Georgian nation's spirit is invaluable. Numerous churches and monasteries have been built and restored under his leadership, abandoned churches in remote areas have resumed services, and monastic life has been renewed. In this short period in its history, our country has been through many trials and tribulations, and the Church and the Patriarch have always spoken the strongest words of hope. His spiritual strength, wisdom, humility, tolerance, and perseverance remain exemplary. I offer him my sincere congratulations on this exceptional occasion and wish him many years to strengthen the nation through his prayers ad blessing.
