H.E. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia met with Ms. Yesim Elhan-Kayalar, Country Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Parties discussed the projects implemented in the country with ADB funding and stressed the significance of this International Financial Institution (IFI) as one of the largest partners of Georgia.

Bilateral cooperation has been discussed at the meeting in the following areas: transport and road infrastructure, energy, water supply, etc. Discussions were also related to the engagement of IFIs in the development of the capital market in the country.
Head of the Government of Georgia (GOG) shared information with the Country Director of the ADB on the Four Point Reform Agenda of the Government, which covers economic development, governance reform, spatial planning and advancement of the education system. Country Director of ADB noted that the IFI is continuing its successful cooperation with Georgia and supports the reforms planned by its Government, which should lead to the development and economic growth of the country.
Meeting held at the Government Administration today was attended by H.E. Dimitry Kumsishvili, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Georgia; H.E. Giorgi Gakharia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
