"Wardrop Dialogue covers a wide spectrum of UK-Georgia relations and it has embarked on a new phase of development" noted Mr. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Acting Prime Minister of Georgia at the meeting with Sir Alan Duncan, Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Minister for Europe and Americas of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Sir Alan congratulated Mr. Kvirikashvili with success achieved in the General Elections and expressed hopes for intensified cooperation with Georgia.
Parties discussed main aspects of partnership relations between the United Kingdom (UK) and Georgia. Focus has been made on the significance of the Wardrop Strategic Dialogue and prospects of intensified trade and economic relations on the background of active political interaction. It was noted at the meeting that UK is one of the largest investors in Georgia.

Discussions were related to the existing and truly successful cooperation in the areas of national security and defense. In the opinion of the Georgia authorities, cooperation in crisis management is also key to Georgia-UK relations, as evidenced by the National Situation Room Project.
Parties discussed the outcome of British referendum on exiting the European Union (EU). In the opinion of the State Minister for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Minister for Europe and Americas of the UK, BrExit will not lead to any barriers in the relationship with Georgia and committed to the solid support of the country by UK.
Sir Alan Duncan, Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Minister for Europe and Americas is visiting Georgia within the scope of the Wardrop Dialogue.
