The European Union will allocate 30 million Euro grant for Georgia. Said grant aims to promote public management reform. Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the Ambassador of the EU to Georgia Janos Herman will discuss the details of the contract during the briefing scheduled tomorrow.

During today's Government meeting the head of the Government indicated that the governance reform represents an important pillar of the Government's four-point reform plan and special aid provided by the EU in this direction is particularly important.

"This outlines the importance of building European governance institutions in Georgia. We will have to put much effort in this area, to ensure complete compliance with the undertakings provided by the EU Association Agreement and to create governance system that is aligned with the EU regulations and engages citizens in the decision-making process," - the Prime Minister noted.
