Transfer of Le Ville estate is truly momentous fact, - Prime Minister of Georgia noted prior the Cabinet meeting. Giorgi Kvirikashvili commented on the transfer of Le Ville estate to Georgia and congratulated the people of Georgia on this event of epochal importance. According to him, the preparatory works leading to the transfer of estate continued since the day of regaining Georgia's independence and as a result of consistent efforts, complicated 25-year process was finalized successfully on September 23, 2016.

"This is the first Government meeting since the signing of the Act of Transfer of Le Ville Estate to Georgia. I would like to comment on this issue and congratulate you on this truly momentous event. Since the day Georgia regained independence, efforts have been taken to achieve this result for the last 25 years. I am glad that today this lengthy process was finalized and through correct approach involving prolonged and hard work we managed to achieve this great result for our country. Transfer of Le Ville estate to Georgia is truly historic moment. It is planned to organize the "Georgian-French Historical and Cultural Memorial Center of the First Republic - Georgian Academy of Le Ville" in the said estate. Museum, archive, library, reading room, conference hall will be arranged in the respective area. Georgian Academy will provide accommodation for the Georgian scientists. Respective area will include residential space for Georgian researchers, students, artists, musicians. They will be able to stay and work in France. This is important in terms of developing of partnership in the fields of culture, science and other areas," - Prime Minister indicated.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili thanked Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani and State Minister on Diaspora Issues Gela Dumbadze for the provided work.

"I would like to congratulate all of you and thank Gela Dumbadze and Tea Tsulukiani for their substantial contribution and tedious work to achieve the said agreement. I would also like to thank the Embassy of Georgia in France and all our compatriots living in France with whom the said agreement was achieved," - Prime Minister noted.
