Region - the Prime Minister of Georgia presented the new governor to the media. The head of the Government congratulated Irakli Kadagishvili on his appointment and wished him best of luck in his future endeavours.
"Mr. Kadagishvili is well-known to the Georgian society. He was the member of the first Parliament, was the member of the Tbilisi City Council as well as the manager of the Catholicos-Patriarch's charity fund. I would like to emphasize that during the 2012 elections Irakli Kadagishvili curated Kakheti region at the "Georgian Dream" campaign headquarters. I believe that with his solid experience and honesty, he will be very successful together with our team. I am glad to see such a person on this important post," - Prime Minister stated.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili thanked the former Governor in Kakheti region Irakli Shiolashvili and wished him the best of luck during the parliamentary elections.
