Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili urged the City Council Member Aleko Elisashvili to provide relevant information to the Prosecutor's Office on the alleged threat.

As the head of the Government stated in his conversation with the reporters, the member of the City Council may be questioned and the law-enforcement agencies will take actions prescribed by the law in case of the threat.

"He has a full right to act so and if any kind of influence is exercised over him, he has to take such a step. We remember statements made in the past, such as by the Chair of the Constitutional Court about the facts that were not confirmed later. I do not imply that this is a similar case, but if such need exists, anyone has a right to submit relevant information to the law-enforcement agencies," - Prime Minister noted.
