New agenda with the EU Print Version

We will launch official negotiations concerning the new and in our opinion, very important agenda with the EU in the near future, - Prime Minister noted prior to the EU Integration Commission.

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the implementation of the National Action Plan concerning the Association Agreement and its integral part - the DCFTA as well as the EU-Georgia visa liberalization issues will be the main discussion topics during today's meeting.
"As you are aware, the term of the existing association agenda expires in 2016 and we will launch the official talks concerning the new agenda in the near future. We plan to implement major changes and reforms to become even closer with the European and Euro-Atlantic space - a sole legitimate decision of Georgia and we believe that this path will ensure stable development of the country as well as creation of better conditions for the residents of Georgia.

This is an irreversible process defined by Georgians through referendums and other types of polls on numerous occasions," - Prime Minister noted.
