After the parliamentary elections the State Minister on the European and Euro-Atlantic Integration will be appointed to the post of the Ambassador of Georgia to the United States, - respective statement was made by the Prime Minister prior to the Commission on European Integration. According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, relevant decision has already been taken following the consultations with the President of Georgia.

"Future Ambassador of Georgia will be the State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration David Bakradze. We believe that Mr. Bakradze has all the qualities that will enable him to be successful in the very important capacities of the Ambassador. I would like to take this opportunity and thank Archil Gegeshidze who has performed major work - during this period the partnership with the US has been deepened in all directions prescribed by the Cooperation Charter. I would like to wish him success in his future endeavours. Mr. Bakradze has an experience of performing the functions of Ambassador in NATO member-countries and he has a vast experience in terms of Euro-Atlantic integration as well. His personal qualities that will be particularly important in establishing interpersonal ties shall also be emphasized," - Prime Minister noted.
