For the first time in Georgia a 2-year Master Program in Environmental Management and Policy was created, - Prime Minister of Georgia discussed respective topic during the Government meeting. According to the Prime Minister, respective program is a substantially new direction in the education system of Georgia and it aims at preparation of qualified employees in the area of environmental management and policy areas.
"Our Government prioritizes environmental protection. This is the first Master Program with a concentration on environmental protection and policy that is implemented by Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ). GIZ funds the 90% of the cost of the program. I would like to thank Government of Germany for this important contribution," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted.
