Prime Minister held a meeting with British Government Adviser on Security and Crisis Management Issues Sir Garry Johnson and newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Georgia Justin McKenzie Smith.

Prime Minister thanked the General, who is one of the most experienced experts in the field of security in Great Britain, for his support in the process of establishing national situation room and providing his expertise to the State Security and Crisis Management Council. The parties noted that national situation room that was created based on the British model enables close coordination of various agencies and ensures effective management of critical situations. Particular attention was paid to the challenges in the security area as well.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili wished the newly appointed Ambassador best of luck in his future endeavours and outlined importance of bilateral partnership with the Great Britain.

The General and the Ambassador demonstrated an interest in the Government's reform agenda and pre-election process.

Head of the State Security and Crisis Management Council Mindia Janelidze also attended the meeting.
