Within the frames of his one-day visit to the Republic of Armenia Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili conducted a meeting with the his Armenian counterpart Hovik Abrahamyan. Prime Ministers of the two countries discussed close cooperation between Georgia and Armenia in the areas of politics, economy and culture. Particular attention was paid to trade and economy.

Prime Ministers expressed full readiness to support development of bilateral economic relations between the countries. After the face-to-face meeting the conversation continued in an extended format. The parties addressed partnership in economic, energy and transportation fields. The conversation also touched upon the projects of regional importance. Significance of Georgian-Armenian Inter-Governmental Commission was outlined.

Georgian side was also represented by Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs David Dondua, whereas Armenian side was represented by the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Integration and Reforms Vache Gabrielyan, Minister of Energy Levon Yolyan and Minister of Transportation Gagik Beglaryan.
