Prime Minister of Georgia attended the ceremony commemorating the first President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.
Governmental delegations of 17 countries attended the official funeral ceremony held in the hometown of the President - Samarkand.
The President of Uzbekistan was honored by presidents of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan; Prime Ministers of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kirgizstan; Vice Prime Minister of China, as well as representatives of legislative and executive branches of the governments of various countries, members of diplomatic corps and internationals missions.
