We have a positive dialogue with Georgian Muslims and we will decide jointly on further steps, state will certainly take in mind their interests, - Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili responded to the question of the reporters concerning the plans on construction or enlargement of a mosque in Batumi.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili considers that no one shall be allowed to speculate on this issue.

"We shall not enable anyone to speculate with this issue. Unfortunately, I have to say that many people are engaged in political and very hazardous speculations. We maintain a perfect dialogue with Georgian Muslims and decision upon our further steps will be taken jointly. State will definitely keep in mind their interests. This will be a result of bilateral negotiations. It is quite early to say anything at this point, I will held meetings with them, I maintain a communication. New head of Ajarian Government will be given every opportunity and time to profoundly examine this issue and relevant decision will be made only based only upon studying this issue," - Prime Minister noted.

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Government of Georgia ensures protection of relevant rights of people of all faiths.
"In case of necessity and their will - also, if existing places of worship cannot accommodate them all, we will support them and there will be no opposition," - Prime Minister noted.
