Main topics discussed during the face-to-face meeting of the Prime Ministers of Georgia and Azerbaijan necompassed strategic partnership of Georgia and Azerbaijan, joint projects as well as regional development.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Artur Rasizade outlined the positive dynamics that is observable in the bilateral relations in terms of cooperation in political, economic and humanitarian areas.
Particular attention was paid to large-scale transportation and energy projects of regional importance that are being implemented by Georgia and Azerbaijan jointly.
In this regard, specific emphasis was placed on Southern gas Corridor and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway projects, succesful implementation of which is importance in terms of reinforcement of European energy security and unimpeded functioning of transport corridor linking Europe and Asia.
