Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili conducted a meeting with the hair of the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus Valery Vakulchik.
Participants of the meeting discussed bilateral relations as well as prospects of cooperation in security area. It was hoped that the "Agreement on Cooperation between the State Security Service of Georgia and the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus" signed today will strengthen bilateral relations in the area of fighting terrorism, corruption and crimes against state security.
Participants of the meeting discussed regional developments and emphasized importance of safe and peaceful development of the region.
Head of the State Security Service Vakhtang Gomelauri attended the meeting at the Administration of the Government of Georgia .
