New hospital will start functioning by the end of this year - Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Minister of Healthcare David Sergeenko visited construction works today.
With around 3 million GEL allocated for the construction of the hospital, it will provide all types of emergency treatment to local residents.
According to the Minister of Healthcare, the personnel residing locally will be mainly employed at the hospital. Relevant trainings have already been held and each of them will undergo specific retraining.
Lentekhi hospital is in the Universal Healthcare Program, meaning that local residents covered by healthcare plan will be able to obtain planned and emergency outpatient as well as various inpatient treatment.
