I would like to extend my deepest condolences over the devastating earthquake in Italy.
On behalf of the Government and people of Georgia I express sympathies to the families of the victims of the disaster, Government and people of Italy. I hope that numerous people trapped under rubble will be rescued very soon.
At this time of calamity we stand by the people of Italy.
We believe that Italy will succeed in overcoming the results of this tragedy.
