Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili offered his deepest condolences to the Italian Government and people after the recent earthquake in Italy.
"I was just informed of a deadly earthquake near Perugia, Italy, which has claimed lives and caused destruction. I offer my deepest sympathies to the Italian Government and the Italian people over this tragedy. I would like to ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs to establish contact with Italy, so that Georgia may make its modest contribution to assistance efforts," Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated.
