The Government will transfer ownership of houses to 177 more IDP families free of change and they will live under their own roofs, - Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated during today's Government meeting.
The IDPs will obtain houses in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Mtskheta, Batumi, Poti, Zugdidi, Zestafoni, Khoni and Khashuri.
Since 2012, around 12 500 IDP families have been provided with accommodation and the process continues under the supervision of Ministries of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories and Economy.
"It is our duty to provide IDPs with housing," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated.
