I do not see a problem in meeting Giorgi Papuashvili. However, it occurs to me that what we observe is an attempt to discredit certain institutions and that is unacceptable, - Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili indicated in his conversation with the press.

According to the Prime Minister, these institutes is what the country is based on and everyone requires them.

"I contacted Mr. Papuashvili following his very first statement. I offered him to inform the Prosecutor's Office and submit any relevant documentation that he had. Unfortunately, he decided not to inform Prosecutor's Office. I cannot understand why in his opinion addressing Ajarian Prosecutor's Office is an inadequate measure. I consider that we have to treat relevant institutions, including branches and representatives of Prosecutor's Office with relevant respect," - Prime Minister stated. Giorgi Kvirikashvili indicated that he already talked to Chief Prosecutor and expressed hope that he will meet Giorgi Papuashvili.

"I urge everyone to participate in the process of shedding light on these events," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated.
