Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili conducted a meeting with the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The meeting took place within the frames of the Prime Minister's visit to Turkey at the Presidential Palace.

The parties discussed main aspects of the economic relations between Georgia and Turkey. The conversation also touched upon the importance of the high-level Strategic Cooperation Council and the need for timely implementation of the agreements concluded within the frames of visit.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked Prime Minister of Georgia for the solid support demonstrated to Turkey and commended fruitful termination of the visit.

Head of the Government of Georgia reasserted his strong support to the people of Turkey and expressed his belief that stable and democratic Turkey is an important guarantee of regional safety.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili thanked President of Turkey for supporting Georgia at the Warsaw Summit.
It was noted that today's visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia will reinforce cooperative relations between the countries.
