Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili will visit the Imereti and Samegrelo Regions which have been affected by the recent downpours.
On the order of the Head of Government, representatives of the Government will be dispatched to every area affected by the disaster to coordinate relevant work on the ground.
To address the problems arising from the recent heavy rains and a natural disaster in Western Georgia, relevant agencies and local authorities are working extended shifts.
Due to the natural disaster, the ceremonial opening of the Black Sea Arena has been postponed, and so has the opening of the new 11-kilometer highway section Bashi-Dapnari.
