Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili examined the strategic vision and priorities concerning development of Georgian education system that were presented to the members of the Government Minister of Education and Science. Presentation concerning the ways of strategic development of pre-school education, general and higher as well as professional education was held at professional college "Aisi" in Kachreti.

In the beginning the Minister of Education stressed the importance of reforming the education system, which, he explained, fully determines the country's development in all directions. He further underlined the role of vocational education, which is an integral part of the government's 4-point reform plan. It was noted that the country needs a highly skilled and competitive specialists. Intensive work to make professional education even more attractive for young people has been commenced.
After the presentation, a discussion concerning the problems and challenges in the education system and current reform was held.

Prime Minister alongside with the members of the government examined the college infrastructure, training classrooms, laboratories, workshops and toured the house wine. Pursuant to the Minister of Education, the College "Aisi" concentrates mainly on the areas of agriculture and tourism and prepares the following specialists: farmers, winemakers, bee keepers, fruit and vegetable processing specialists, grocery product specialists, veterinarians, tractorists, hospitality specialists, tour guides, tour operators, cooks. etc. Aleksandre Jejelava indicated that these professions are important to the region's economic development. Currently up to 500 students are studying at professional college.
