Prime Minister of Georgia considers that OSCE carries particular significance in view of preservation of stability and security and it shall return to Georgia. Giorgi Kvirikashvili made respective statement in his conversation with journalists. Pursuant to him, it is important to reform OSCE to ensure simplified decision-making process and adoption of more effective decisions.

"At the annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly we will present our occupation related challenge. Draft resolution that has been elaborated reflects the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia in view of human rights violations. Presence of international monitoring mission in the occupied territories is vitally important and OSCE has to return to Georgia.

Overall, the organization's point of view is important, it is important to reform the OSCE, to simplify decision-making mechanisms and ensure adoption of more effective decisions. We are very happy that Georgia hosts such a very important event - this is a great honor for us and we are waiting for the decision of the PA regarding the resolution, "- Prime Minister noted.

While speaking to reporters, Giorgi Kvirikashvili underlined importance of full implementation of the Association Agreement. He indicated that starting from July 1, the Association Agreement became fully operational, is a very important date, because today Georgia became a part of the European agenda. Prime Minister believes that the Association Agreement will bring the ultimate benefit - Visa Liberalization.
"This is very important given the fact that a number of regulations, a number of opportunities are opened - including the European market. Beforehand there still was some conditional access to the European market, however it is now completely free to Georgia. However, we will have to work in terms of setting a variety of regulations on the ground to make the best possible use of the opportunities that a European market offers. Of course, in political context, we will continue the reform agenda. Among the benefits that are still ahead of us is, Visa Liberalization and I hope that in the near future we will be able to complete this process, "- Prime Minister indicated.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili also commented on the issue of Ahmed Chataev. Prime Minister considers that a terrorist shall be sentenced notwithstanding of his identity. To the question of a journalist regarding whether Ahmed Chataev is a alleged organizer of terrorist attack in Turkey, Prime Minister responded that he had not been aware of the official position of Turkish side. "I have never heard similar allegations on the part of the Turkish side. Some, including Georgian politicians, voiced such allegations. I would like to emphasize that the investigation into the case has not been terminated yet. In any case, whatever the outcomes of the investigation are, whoever the perpetrator is, he shall not go unpunished. However, premature allegations and speculations are inappropriate.
