Prime Minister of Georgia hosted representatives of Muslim community during Iftar and congratulated them on particularly holy month Ramadan.

In his speech Giorgi Kvirikashvili once again extended his condolences over the terrorist attack in Turkey. Pursuant to him, terrorism is a common foe of humankind and it has no religion or nationality.
"It is unfortunate that I have to address this topic today. This was a ruthless attack against humanity. Completely innocent people died in Turkey. I would like to extend my particular gratitude to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Georgia Levent Gumrukcu for joining us here today. This once again indicates our unity and friendship. Terrorism does not have nationality or religion and unfortunately, its scope of action is unlimited as well. The world is not as secure as it used to be not long ago. Terrorist is our common enemy and civilized world shall stand together to overcome this demanding challenge," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted.
Prime Minister outlines peaceful coexistence of Christian and Muslim worlds throughout centuries in Georgia. According to him, such kind of facts is quite rare.

"Our brotherhood and friendship has always been subject of pride in Georgia. These relations are based on centuries of traditions. Mutual sense of tolerance and love have been imprinted over the generations and they have no alternative for future generations as well. Christian and Muslim worlds, including various directions of Muslim faith have peacefully coexisted throughout centuries in Georgia. This is truly exemplary for the whole world. We are brought up by the same soil, we are children of one land and we have to build country where our children and grandchildren will continue carrying brotherly feelings towards each other," - Prime Minister noted.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili also congratulated Muslims on coming Ramazan Bairami holiday and wished them peace of mind and prosperity.
