The second stage of legalization of houses purchased in 2005-2009 for eco-migrants has started. Pursuant to the Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, at a symbolic price of 1 GEL 71 eco-migrant families will provided with residential houses and land plots.
Pursuant to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the problem of eco-migrants has been quite painful and it is crucial that the Government is taking specific steps to address this issue on a stage-by-stage basis.
"At a symbolic price of 1 GEL 71 eco-migrant families will provided with residential houses and land plots that are located in Kakheti (44 residential houses and land plots) and Kvemo Kartli (27 residential houses with land plots). This year only 302 eco-migrant families have been provided with housing and land plots. We consider that this is a welcoming fact, since the problem of eco-migrants is quite a sensitive issue in our country and it is important for the Government to ensure proper living conditions for them," - Prime Minister indicated.
