22 years have passed since the establishment of the Special State Protection Serviceof Georgia - Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili alongside with the members of Cabinet and representatives of diplomatic corps attended the solemn ceremony marking the anniversary.

Prime Minister congratulated the employees of Special State Protection Serviceon their professional holiday and thanked them for their devotion while performing their duty to country.

"We are proud that the Service has developed into unit that demonstrates a high degree of professionalism while performing official duties and reinforces state security. It is indeed worthy of pride that the professionalism demonstrated by the said agency is completely in line with the international standards that has been emphasized on numerous occasions locally and by the high-ranking guests from abroad as well as by international partners. I would like to take this opportunity and thank our international partners and friends for their great support that enabled us to be proud of this Service," - Prime Minister indicated.

Giorgi Kvirikashvili particularly congratulated recruits on their professional holiday and expressed hope that they will contribute to peaceful development of the homeland.

"I would like to particularly congratulate the recruits. I would like to express with great joy how delighted I am with the way you performed the national anthem. I would like to wish you to stand selflessly in the service of your country. I wish you a safe service and I hope that our country will always remain an object of pride," - Prime Minister indicated.

The swearing-in ceremony of recruits was held within the frames of the celebration. 104 recruits participated in this process. Major General Nugzar Chubinidze - the Head of Special State Protection Service awarded the best employees.

At the end of the ceremony, units subjected to the Special State Protection Service performed simulated activities.
